Tonight I’m writing for the artist who is not defined an artist. For the one that writes music by himself, for no one to hear. For the singer that shuts the door and opens her heart. For the musician that never ’made it’. This is for the real ones. The ones that never sold the magic of real art in exchange for money and fame. For the girl on the floor in her bedroom, writing down the lines she will never speak. The poet in a village somewhere far away, who never had the money to send his art to LA. The band that is still in the garage, playing until their fingers bleed, who never cared for brands and image.

This is for the writer, the poet, the dancer, the songwriter, who never lost his passion. Who never cleaned up the chaos. Who kept the true purpose of art. Music should not be your profession. You should live it, breathe it, be it.
